    The Packaging Game

    The Packaging Game

So more and more people started buying my stuff, so I decided it was time to make the packaging a little better than plain old cardboard looks. I made a few stencils and began spray painting the mailers and boxes in my garage. This works well when you are only shipping a handful of packages a day. When the pace picked up, I couldn't keep up with the package decorating, so you may have seen some inconsistencies in it if you are a regular customer. Here's the new packaging...(prototype).

Making these in lots of 3,000 units, which should last a few months. Cost-wise, it's actually going to be cheaper than painting them on my own, dollar-wise. The time saved by not having to spray paint packages every week is a huge load off! Hope you like the new professional look. Have a nice week.

    Spotter Up!

    An excerpt from the article...

He didn’t pretend his art was going to save lives, or plant farms in Somalia, he wasn’t going to protest against the dark forces of America but he wasn’t going to sit by idly quoting Proust and Pruskin at coffee shops. He joined the Navy and learned to make a difference that could be seen and felt. There isn’t the credibility gap for Evan that we can point to as we can with other artists who are milking the world for money while positing their art is profound. Any artist can say the correct buzz words but how many can state how their art has a real ‘Hurtlocker’ story woven into it...CONTINUE

    Listen To This Guy's Story!

I came across this film project and was blown away! The guys over at Zero Films are making a film about one man's journey as a door gunner in Vietnam. Those Vets were treated like crap when they came home, which is messed up, but this film is a step in the right direction to getting their stories told. These are epic stories. Click this image below where you can get the details and even help out if you can. Buy them a round of Go Go Juice (aka what you would spend at the bar for a Friday night of drinks with friends).

    Not "Janky" Gear

"Got my t-shirts, they're fantastic. Soft and perfect fit. Thank you for not skimping and making janky t-shirts! Trying to tag you in all kinds of sh#t on IG so we get you out there! Very proud to wear my shirts, patches and stickers. Cheers."

    Saving A Dog

"I have the dumbest hero story you are likely to hear this month. I ordered the "No One is Coming" stickers because of my daughter. She is 16 and was waiting all day in the heat to go to a concert. While waiting, she and her friend noticed a dog on the roof of a nearby house that was being renovated. After a little snooping around, they realized that the dog was stuck up there and couldn't get down. They called the police but didn't get much of a response. They called animal control and were told to call the police. They called a couple other animal rescue places and nothing. My daughter finally told her friend, "No one is coming. It's up to us." No joke. Those are the exact words she told me. They engaged some neighbors, found someone with a ladder, and they got the dog off the roof. Poor thing drank two bowls of water right away. They fed him and left him with a neighbor.

So in my mind, that makes them big heroes. When she goes back to school next month, there will be one of your stickers on her laptop.

Not earth changing, but I thought I would share. The patches and other stuff is for me. Been meaning to get a few. Hope it brought you a smile. Thanks."
