30SECOUT was founded by a Navy dude who likes ocean stuff, especially Sea Turtles. Ya, it's random, but here we are.
Stand by for turtle facts. Sea turtles outlived dinosaurs. Sand temperatures determine the sex of Sea Turtles. Only 1 in 1,000 turtles will make it to adulthood (WTF?!). Turtles use the Earth's magnetic field to navigate. "Honu" is the Hawaiian word for sea turtle, specifically the green sea turtle.
